Following the incidents during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille, the LFP (French Football League) disciplinary committee has decided to suspend the Auteuil Stand for the match against Strasbourg on October 21st.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is expressing its displeasure with the sanction. In a statement, PSG “regrets that the disciplinary committee has chosen to apply an extraordinary sanction against the Club by closing the Auteuil Stand for two matches, one of which is suspended.”

The Club further states, “The Club is disappointed that the committee has opted for an excessive and collective measure that may undermine the ongoing dialogue and prevention work carried out by the Club with various stakeholders, including associations, institutions, and supporters.”

While PSG will not appeal the decision, they emphasize their commitment to continue working with stakeholders to combat discrimination and promote changes in attitudes.
