Gianluigi Donnarumma, under scrutiny for his recent red card against Le Havre, finds support from his agent, Vincenzo Raiola, who downplays the severity of the situation.

In an interview with Le Corriere Dello Sport, Raiola pointed out that Donnarumma’s last red card was over 9 years ago and emphasized the goalkeeper’s calm demeanor in the face of this incident.

“I’m quite pleased with the commotion that has arisen around him. I say this somewhat ironically. It’s a rare event that stirs up emotion, but the last red card he received was when he was 15. He is very calm,” stated Raiola.

Despite the agent’s attempt to lighten the situation, Donnarumma has been handed a two-match suspension by the Professional Football League’s disciplinary committee.
