Paris Saint-Germain strengthens its position at the top of the French league after a 2-1 victory against FC Nantes on Saturday night in the 15th round of Ligue 1. Alban Lafont, the goalkeeper for Nantes, spoke to Canal+ after the match.
“Certainly, in terms of the result, there’s a bit of regret because we come back to one-one, and we feel that we’re a little better, managing to have some sequences of play,” he said.
“It was a bit better, and conceding a goal like that from a set piece is quite frustrating. PSG is never beatable; when you see the starting lineup, the players who come in, it’s extraordinary. Whether it’s PSG or another team, it’s difficult to say that they are beatable.”
Jean-Charles Castelletto, a defender for the Breton club, doesn’t necessarily share the same opinion. “They were beatable. With the face we showed today, we thought we could do better. They won all the credit for them. We will continue to work, and matches await us.”
