Chloé Paquet, a PSG fan, has named her rackets after football players. Thus, the French player used to love playing with Kylian, but this year at Roland Garros, she brought out… Asensio, Lucas Hernandez, and Gonçalo Ramos.
“They are named after players (from PSG). I don’t have racket number 1, racket number 2,” she said after her victory. “There is one racket that I feel good with at the moment, it’s the Asensio racket. It brings me a bit of luck. I had Kylian but I took him out unfortunately… I started with Asensio, I moved on to Lucas Hernandez, and I finished with Ramos. I didn’t choose Kylian today.”
In 2017, the player talked about her admiration for Javier Pastore. “I love Paris, I never miss a match. I go to the Parc whenever I can, whenever I’m not in a tournament. It wasn’t a fantastic year for PSG, I think the match against Barcelona (the famous remontada) made me lose some matches… No, I’m kidding. But yeah, I’m a PSG fan. Not just football, PSG!”
