Record Revenues for PSG, Expected to Continue Even Without Messi and Neymar

The 2022-2023 season has been a financial record for Paris Saint-Germain, according to a study. And PSG is not planning to stop there, even without the big stars Messi and Neymar.

The final year of Neymar and Lionel Messi at PSG has set a record… for PSG’s bank account. While not everything went as planned on the sporting front, financially, everything is smooth sailing. The analysis firm “Football Benchmark” has released a report on the financial performances of major European clubs, highlighting Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) revenues.

Here are the key findings regarding PSG in this report: PSG’s revenues reached €801.6 million, setting a record for the club. This marks a 20% increase compared to the previous season.

Breaking down PSG’s revenues for the season:

– Matchday revenues: €153.1 million, including ticket sales and other matchday-related sources.

– TV rights: €249.2 million, showing a significant 79% increase from the previous season. The report mentions the contribution of CVC, stating that PSG received €83.5 million last season thanks to this agreement.

– Commercial revenues: €399.4 million, including income from various partnerships and commercial agreements.

The report also indicates “expected improvements in 2023-24,” suggesting that PSG could continue to see revenue growth in the coming seasons. This is despite the change in direction, the departure of stars, and the restructuring project for the professional group.
