Marco Verratti, tied to Al-Arabi until 2025, has negotiated a clause in his contract allowing him to leave Doha one week per month.

Retirement life for Verratti in Qatar comes with special clauses. While the Italian dedicates part of his free time to Doha, he also frequently returns to Paris with his wife.

Upon signing his contract with Al-Arabi SC, Marco Verratti negotiated a specific clause granting him the right not to participate in training for one week per month. This allows him to return to Paris for 7 days and spend time with his partner and children who have remained in the capital.

Despite his departure from PSG, the Italian maintains friendly relations with his former teammates. Thus, according to L’Equipe, “the story between Verratti and the French capital is far from over.”
