Mamadou Sakho found himself in a troubling situation as he engaged in an altercation with his coach, Michel Der Zakarian, during a Montpellier Hérault Sport Club (MHSC) training session one Tuesday evening.

The incident was triggered when the player, frustrated by a foul that went unnoticed by the coach during a practice match, decided to leave the field. Subsequently, in the locker room, Michel Der Zakarian made some remarks to the player, stating that the training session was “not à la carte.”

Der Zakarian was said to have been in a furious rage before the staff and teammates intervened.
