Kylian Mbappé confirms that after Real Madrid, he could indeed be tempted by AC Milan.

Kylian Mbappé’s career plan has always been clear. At least, according to Nabil Dirar, Mbappé’s former teammate at Monaco. The soon-to-be ex-PSG player will join Real Madrid next season, but he won’t stay there forever.

His former teammate is convinced that Mbappé will eventually sign with AC Milan. Mbappé is expected to sign a five-year contract with Real Madrid, which would make him 30 years old at the end of his tenure. If he leaves as a free agent, as he did with PSG, Mbappé could still play at the highest level in Italy for a few more years, following the successful paths of Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Mbappé is a Milan Fan

“Kylian has always had lots of Milan socks and jerseys. I think he will go to AC Milan after Real, and when he does, he won’t be too old,” says Nabil Dirar. But why such admiration for AC Milan? The reason is simple: one of Mbappé’s nannies was a fan of the club.

“When he came home, he would only talk about Milan. If they lost, he would throw the remote at the TV and curse in Italian,” recalled his mother, Fayza Lamari, a few years ago.

Mbappé himself has responded to these claims, confirming his interest. “Italian football? You never know how things might turn out. I’ve always said: if I play in Italy one day, it will be for AC Milan. In my youth, I was a big fan of AC Milan and I still watch Serie A, especially all of Milan’s matches. Even in my family, we love Milan,” the former Monaco player commented to Sky Italia this Tuesday.
