A few days before the trial, L’Equipe reveals what players and members of Nice allegedly told investigators.

This Tuesday, the newspaper L’Équipe unveils serious accusations that emerged during the investigation into the Galtier case. Since last spring, Christophe Galtier has been at the center of a racism scandal, following the leak of an email from Julien Fournier, former sports director of Nice.

In this email, Fournier wanted to report to his superiors the alleged racist or Islamophobic behavior of the coach of the Aiglons at the time. Christophe Galtier has been summoned by the justice system to answer accusations of moral harassment and discrimination based on ethnicity, nationality, alleged race, or a determined religion.

L’Équipe, in its today’s edition, exposes numerous damning testimonies that Christophe Galtier will have to face in court. His lawyers refute most of these testimonies, considering them distorted. “He reserves his statements for the court. He is finally waiting for this public and contradictory debate where he will demonstrate that he obviously never discriminated or harassed anyone,” explain Galtier’s lawyers.

VIPSG.fr has chosen not to reproduce these accusations available in detail on L’Equipe’s website.

Galtier is facing five serious accusations in the columns of L’Équipe, in addition to allegations from several players (Boudaoui, Boulhendi, Rosario…) claiming to have been pressured to break their Ramadan fast.
