Nenê, 42 years old, continues to play football. The former attacking midfielder of Paris Saint-Germain currently plays for Juventude, a local second-division club. However, he recently experienced an unexpected incident.
Juventude secured their spot in Serie A after winning a match against Ceara (3-2). Unfortunately, Nenê, who was injured, watched the game from the stands. During the celebration of his team’s second goal, he expressed his joy by hitting the glass partition in the stands, causing it to break.
This resulted in minor cuts to the hand and face of the wife of an opposing player, Chrystian Barletta. Nenê was taken to the police station to provide an explanation. Fortunately, the incident had no serious consequences. Nenê’s contract is set to expire next month, and there’s a possibility he might extend it to play one final professional season in the top tier.
