Angel Di Maria is set to retire, but not for a few more months, as he recently revealed.

At 35 years old, with 134 caps and 29 goals for the Argentine national team, Angel Di Maria plans to retire from international football after the upcoming Copa America next summer.

Angel Di Maria has been an integral part of the Argentine team for over 15 years and reached the pinnacle of his career by winning the World Cup last December. He played for PSG from 2015 to 2022.

“I will step down from the Argentine national team after the Copa America; it’s over for me,” announced the former PSG player during an interview with Todo Pasa. As a reminder, the 48th edition of the Copa America will take place in the United States from June 20 to July 16, 2024. It’s a tournament where Di Maria and Argentina will aim to defend their title.
