Kylian Mbappé is set to join Real Madrid in a few days. An ex-teammate assures that his next club will be AC Milan.

Kylian Mbappé’s career plan has always been clear. At least, according to Nabil Dirar, his former teammate at Monaco. The future ex-PSG player will join Real Madrid next season, but he won’t stay there forever.

Dirar is convinced that Mbappé will eventually sign with AC Milan. Mbappé is expected to sign a five-year deal with Madrid, which means he will be 30 years old when his contract ends. If he leaves as a free agent, as he did with PSG, Mbappé could still play several more years at the highest level in Italy, following in the footsteps of players like Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who enjoyed successful stints in Serie A.

Mbappé’s Milan Fandom

“Kylian has always had a lot of Milan socks and jerseys. I think he will go to AC Milan after Real, and when he does, he won’t be too old,” says Nabil Dirar. But why such admiration for Milan? It turns out one of Mbappé’s nannies was an Italian Milan fan.

“When he came home, he only talked about Milan. If they lost, he could throw the remote at the TV and curse in Italian,” his mother Fayza Lamari recounted a few years ago.
