Marquinhos, captain of Paris Saint-Germain, is going through an incredibly painful moment in his personal life. His wife, Carol Cabrino, has announced on Instagram that the couple has lost their fourth child due to a miscarriage.
“The pregnancy didn’t progress, our baby became a little angel… This is an indescribable pain,” she shared with deep emotion.

Already the father of three children — Eduarda (7), Enrico (5), and Marina (2) — the Brazilian defender is now coping with this devastating loss. The PSG community, as well as fans around the world, are expected to show their support during this difficult time.
PSG Eyes Ligue 1 Title, But Marquinhos Could Miss Out
While the Parisians travel to Saint-Étienne this weekend with a chance to secure the Ligue 1 title, Marquinhos may understandably be absent. Should PSG win, and Marseille lose to Reims while Nice and Monaco draw, the title would be mathematically secured.
For now, football takes a backseat as Marquinhos and his family process their grief.
