Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly made a €75 million bid to Olympique de Marseille for Mason Greenwood, who has had a strong start to the season in Ligue 1.
According to fichajes.net, PSG has launched an offensive to sign the Manchester United-owned forward, who is currently on loan at OM. If the deal goes through, United would receive €37.5 million, as they retain 50% of a future transfer fee.
PSG sees Greenwood as a key addition to their attack alongside Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Bradley Barcola, and Ousmane Dembélé. Securing his signing would be a major statement in the transfer market, while Manchester United would also benefit financially.
However, Greenwood’s controversial past previously sparked outrage in Marseille, with the city’s mayor openly opposing his arrival at the start of the season. It remains to be seen how PSG supporters would react to such a move.
