Milan Skriniar (29) made his first appearance of the 2024-2025 Ligue 1 season for PSG during their 3-1 victory over Brest on Saturday night.

Luis Enrique was clear about his intentions last summer: he wanted to sell Milan Skriniar. However, the Slovakian defender remained at PSG, and with Pacho and Marquinhos resting, he was given a starting spot on Saturday.

After the match, Skriniar received high praise from his coach. Earlier in the week, PSG’s sporting advisor, Luis Campos, had already commended Skriniar, potentially signaling the beginning of a confidence-restoring effort for the defender at the club.

Skriniar Was Set to Leave

“For me, he played very well. He’s in great shape, the captain of his national team. He was solid in duels, created space, and played smart. So for me, it’s a 10/10,” the Spanish coach said during the press conference.
