It turned out to be a great evening for PSG, despite a rocky start. Brest took the lead with a penalty from Del Castillo in the 29th minute. Ousmane Dembélé equalized just before halftime with an assist from Asensio (42′). In the second half, Fabian Ruiz put PSG ahead with a strike under the crossbar, assisted by Hakimi (73′), before Dembélé added a second goal just a minute later to seal the win (74′).
