Luis Enrique discusses the clash between PSG and FC Barcelona. For the Parisian coach, it’s Barcelona who has everything to lose.

Luis Enrique will inevitably have mixed emotions at kickoff. On the bench of Barcelona during the “remontada,” the Spanish coach will try to beat his lifelong club with PSG.

“Playing against Barcelona is emotionally difficult for me, but at the same time, it’s stimulating. I want to do a good job. I want my team to win the match. I want to prove to them and to myself that as a professional, I am at the highest level. And that means beating Barcelona.”

“To hurt them, we will have to give our best version. Barcelona is a top-level club. They are a good team. It will be very difficult, but I think we are also at a very high level. We are in a good period, and I am convinced that we can eliminate them,” he explained on the PSG official website.

He particularly believes that PSG has everything to gain from this double clash. “Barcelona has won 5 UCL titles, we have won none, it is impossible for them to be more excited than us, it is IMPOSSIBLE. Pressure? None. Ambition? TOTAL.”
