L’Equipe discusses on Friday Kylian Mbappé’s injury, following a tackle from Lilian Brassier during the match between PSG and Brest in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France.

Kylian Mbappé is expected to be fit for the Champions League match next week against Real Sociedad. But until then? No risks.

Kylian Mbappé is expected to be rested for the match against Lille tomorrow evening. “Even if Luis Enrique’s management is sometimes unpredictable, it seems logical that Mbappé will be spared this weekend, to avoid further trauma and to allow him to receive treatment until Wednesday,” assures L’Equipe.

PSG has not yet communicated on the subject and remains cautious about the extent of the injury, if any. But Kylian Mbappé has indeed avoided a long, very long absence.
