In an interview with Ouest France, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo definitively shuts down PSG’s hopes of purchasing Parc des Princes.

Despite pressure from the club, the city ‘s stance on the matter remains unchanged: Paris will not sell Parc des Princes to PSG.

“I reiterate today, once and for all: there will be no sale of Parc des Princes. It is the heritage of Parisians. The subject is closed,” declared Hidalgo firmly.

With the avenue of purchasing Parc des Princes now closed, PSG will have to resort to its only remaining option: building a new stadium. The Stade de France is also off the table for sale, and PSG withdrew from the bidding process.

Paris is now exploring the possibility of constructing its new stadium in the Yvelines region. This move would signify PSG bidding farewell to Parc des Princes in the coming years.
