Bayern Munich continues its search for a right-back, and with Kieran Trippier ruled out, PSG has the advantage in negotiating for Nordi Mukiele.

The right-back Kieran Trippier will not join Bayern Munich this winter. The club’s sporting director, Christoph Freund, announced that the deal for the English international is closed, despite a €15 million offer rejected by Newcastle.

The pursuit of Sacha Boey also seems to be abandoned by Bayern, considering Galatasaray’s demand for €20-25 million, which the Bavarian club finds too high. However, Bayern has not given up on reaching an agreement with PSG for Nordi Mukiele.

Yet, PSG’s demands in this deal may be a stumbling block. According to Sky Sports, “Mukiele is still a target for a transfer. Especially now. But it’s a matter of money.”
