Luis Enrique remains the sole decision-maker for Hakimi and Lee: both players will not immediately return to the PSG starting eleven.

Since the end of the winter break, PSG has been without Kang-In Lee and Achraf Hakimi, as both players are on international duty. Lee is representing South Korea in the Asian Cup, while Hakimi is with Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations.

If both teams reach the finals of their respective competitions, Lee and Hakimi could potentially miss the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Real Sociedad. The Africa Cup of Nations final is scheduled for February 11, and the Asian Cup final for February 10, with PSG’s match on February 14.

According to Le Parisien, the return date of the players to PSG will be decided by coach Luis Enrique, who has reportedly already discussed and approved this plan with Hakimi, Kang-In, and the PSG management before their departure. However, it is unlikely that Luis Enrique will immediately call upon these two players right after their international matches.
