The Kylian Mbappé saga is causing a stir in Spain: an Iberian media outlet launches a completely outrageous piece of information about PSG’s contract extension proposal.

At the beginning of this week, Daniel Riolo dropped a major piece of information regarding the Mbappé situation. PSG would have gone all out to keep their star, offering him a deal that is hard to refuse.

“In this Mbappé story, you have to be clear-headed. On one side, there’s an offer for him to extend that is like ancient Rome, ancient Greece, and the pyramids of Egypt all given to a player. Something unprecedented that will far exceed 100 million per season. So, something no club can ever match. It will come with benefits for the brother, for the family, for everyone… the player agency that the mom wants to set up. Honestly, it’s an incredible thing,” said Riolo.

“On the other side, we have something that is, I was going to say normal, to say that it’s normal when talking about Real,” he continues. “It’s a normal salary for football stars; we’re talking about 30 million and maybe a bit more,” he specifies.

But Daniel Riolo never provides a specific amount. A Spanish journalist, on the other hand, claims that PSG wants to extend Mbappé by paying him 25% of the club’s annual budget each year. The player would account for 36% of the authorized salary mass alone.

A figure that seems completely crazy because PSG, which has achieved record revenues in recent years, between 750 and 800 million, would have promised, according to this source, to pay him… over €175 million per season.
