While PSG is set to sign Lucas Beraldo, the club was also considering Pascal Struijk.

PSG wasn’t focused on just one option for reinforcement. According to L’Equipe, Paris was negotiating with another defender, Leeds player Pascal Struijk.

PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi himself engaged in discussions with the English club for the 24-year-old captain and Dutch international with three caps.

Pascal Struijk could have strengthened the left axis of defense, either as a full-back or center-back. However, PSG ultimately chose Beraldo, as Leeds was demanding too much for their player, who is under contract until 2027.
