Neymar, the striker for Al-Hilal, is facing a labor court summons from a Brazilian mother, accusing him of concealed labor practices.

Neymar’s former employee in Paris is demanding €368,000 from the former Paris Saint-Germain star and has spoken out to explain the reasons behind this legal action. She revealed challenging working conditions, including overnight hours and dismissal without support.

Still residing in France without legal status, she discloses that she was not declared as an employee between January 2021 and October 2022.

“They asked me (to stay longer in the house), and I said yes because I needed it. Being a single mother with four children is not a joke. On weekends, I worked all night. Since I had to return early the next morning, I slept on the premises. But I never received a night shift bonus. I did my hours as they asked me, but I didn’t know it,” she explained to Record.

“Ghost Letter”

“The secretary called me and said, ‘Here is your salary; you don’t need to come anymore, sort out your personal life (her pregnancy, note).’ They told me to collect my money from the security guard at the main entrance. I found myself without any support. They even cut off my electricity for a week,” she recounted.

The plaintiff explained that she had tried to reach a settlement with Neymar amicably through her lawyers. However, the registered letter sent to the former Paris Saint-Germain player in June went unanswered.

Neymar, through one of his spokespersons, Day Crespo, claimed he was not informed of this attempt at an amicable resolution. However, the plaintiff’s representatives argue that the letter was “signed at his home in Bougival.”
