Paris Saint-Germain suffered a 2-1 defeat against AC Milan on Tuesday at the San Siro Stadium during the fourth matchday of the 2023-2024 Champions League.

Following the match, PSG’s coach, 53-year-old Luis Enrique, shared his key thoughts on the loss in an interview with Canal+ and RMC Sport.

“I won’t say if it’s fair or unfair. I believe it was a fairly balanced match, with a very good Milan. We played full-throttle from the first minute. We had the opportunity to take the lead on the scoreboard, but maybe it’s in those moments that we tried to push forward too much and lost control. The match became chaotic, and they are very strong on the counter.”

“Milan played a great game, physically, and technically, they are a great team. They managed to exploit spaces in attack. We lost control of the match several times, but we still had chances, even when trailing 2-1… There are still two matches to go, and we can improve.”
