The Kylian Mbappé saga is expected to reignite next summer as his contract with Paris Saint-Germain comes to an end.

According to information from Marca, the French international would like to leave PSG as a free agent, an opportunity he regrets having missed in 2022.

The Spanish newspaper indicates that Mbappé is disappointed that he extended his contract with PSG last year when he had the chance to join Real Madrid as a free agent. In 2021, he signed a two-season extension (with an option for an additional one) with a significant increase in salary. However, his expectations allegedly haven’t been entirely met at PSG.

Despite this, Real Madrid is being cautious in its approach and is not basing its future solely on Mbappé’s arrival. The Madrid club has bolstered its squad with the emergence of Vinicius Junior and the arrival of Jude Bellingham, allowing it not to be entirely dependent on signing Mbappé.
