Marco Verratti, the 30-year-old Italian midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain, is close to a move to Qatar (Al-Arabi), according to L’Equipe.

According to information from RMC and L’Équipe, it appears that Verratti is nearing a transfer to a Qatari club, likely Al-Arabi. Furthermore, Julian Draxler, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder from PSG, is also on the verge of joining the Qatari league, but with Al-Ahli SC.

“The Italian has reached an agreement, and the Qatari club had already done the same with PSG several days ago. Now, all that’s left is for the midfielder to undergo a medical examination and sign the contract,” reports L’Equipe.

“He will encounter in the league his current teammate: Julian Draxler. The German is set to join Al-Ahli SC, with whom a total agreement has been reached in the last few hours,” according to L’Equipe.
