After facing the refusal of Manchester City and the player’s reluctance, PSG was unable to acquire Bernardo Silva. Now, FC Barcelona is trying their luck.

With Ousmane Dembélé at PSG and the possibility of Bernardo Silva at Barcelona, the transfer market continues to bring surprises. In its latest edition, Sport reports that the reigning Spanish champions are preparing a final offer for Bernardo Silva.

To persuade Manchester City to release the player, whose contract runs until June 2025, Barcelona intends to propose a loan deal with a mandatory purchase option. Pep Guardiola stated on Friday that he would not keep Bernardo Silva at City if the player lacks motivation.

If the loan proposal is rejected by Manchester City, Sport mentions the possibility that FC Barcelona might pay for Bernardo Silva’s transfer if a significant sale occurs before the end of the transfer window.

Barcelona could offer 65 million euros, whereas PSG had proposed 80 million euros. Meanwhile, Manchester City has not given up hope of extending the Portuguese player’s contract.
