Marquinhos, the 29-year-old defender and captain of Paris Saint-Germain, has reportedly been approached by Saudi Arabia during this summer’s transfer window.
Rumors of a surprising departure to Saudi Arabia for Marquinhos have surfaced. Some sources have mentioned ongoing negotiations with the PSG captain, despite his recent contract extension.
However, according to L’Équipe, while several clubs may have attempted to recruit the player, Marquinhos’ entourage asserts that no discussions have taken place. Moreover, PSG has no intention of letting go of their captain.
Nevertheless, Marquinhos’ situation remains uncertain. The player hasn’t been a guaranteed starter in the friendly matches led by Luis Enrique, and the PSG coach is strongly considering stripping him of his captaincy.
