Marquinhos, still the PSG captain for now, addressed the delicate situation surrounding Kylian Mbappé during the PSG’s tour in Japan.
The ongoing standoff between Mbappé and PSG has been lasting for over a month, and until now, Marquinhos had not commented on the matter. However, during the tour in Japan, the Parisian captain had to face the questions.
“Even in Japan, you’re here with your questions. It’s delicate. He is an exceptional player, very talented, but it’s a decision that goes beyond us, the players. It’s a matter for the management,” he said.
“We always want to have great players by our side. I hope we will find a good solution so that he can come back and help us this season,” he added.
