Portuguese media outlet Relevo provides some insights into the behind-the-scenes at PSG: the new coach, Luis Enrique, is determined to lead his team with an iron fist.
A star-studded dressing room, but under the strict control of the Enrique staff. According to Relevo, the Spanish coach aims to form a strong group without special status for any individual player. This applies to Neymar, but certainly also to Kylian Mbappé, if he stays.
“He doesn’t want any stray sheep; he wants all the players who will be part of the first team to contribute and not subtract. Mbappé will be no exception. Luis Enrique won’t turn a blind eye to the French star,” states Relevo.
The end of the glitz, glamour, and star status has already been promised by PSG’s management. It remains to be seen if it will be realized… finally.
